Torun Regional Development Agency S.A. was founded in 1995 and has been promoting and supporting entrepreneurship and the SME sector in Toruń and the region for almost 25 years. As an institution of the business environment, the Agency, through EU funds, supports local enterprises in the development of employees' competences, in obtaining funds for development or expansion into foreign markets.

Through many years of shaping and developing their structures, Toruń Regional Development Agency S.A. is currently one of the key bodies involved in creating an environment friendly to entrepreneurs. The agency from the beginning of its activity draws attention to trends in the economy, closely observes the changes taking place and engages in projects with a broad perspective for the future.

Currently Toruń Regional Development Agency S.A. is, among others a leader in the EU SharOn project, dedicated to the area of ​​sharing economy. Together with four other countries, it promotes the sharing economy concept and will soon launch the Acceleration Program dedicated to young entrepreneurs and startups with an idea for a platform facilitating the sharing of economics.

By actively participating in European programs, the Agency has access to numerous models of entrepreneurship development throughout the European Union. Thus, many good practices observed during study visits can be implemented in their own activities.
