Eco disc - Natalia Przybysz

2019-11-04

Natalia Przybysz, when releasing her new album, wanted it to be as friendly to our planet as possible.

This was done at WMfono and in cooperation with Kayax. The vinyl records were made from the waste that remained after the production of other records. When cutting out the right shape of a vinyl record, trimmings are created, which can be recycled again. Thanks to this, each buyer will get a unique disc, because each will differ in color. The CDs were made of much less than usual amount of aluminum, which is why the plates are transparent. The packaging for the plates were made of recycled paper, while the protection film is made of maize.

The artist recorded a film about the production process of ecological records: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNEVsv42HZM
