Driving positive change

Driving positive change - that was the motto of the 9th edition of the PLGBC Green Building Symposium. In the age of climate crisis, the challenge is to ensure a sustainable future. Action is needed immediately. Green construction is an extremely important element of this change.
 
The symposium is an event permanently inscribed in the PLGBC calendar of activities, this year was held with the participation of over 350 guests from Poland and abroad. Cross-cutting themes, engaging meetings, inspiring experts and the latest knowledge on the ecological construction market are the features of the event.
In this year's edition 4 thematic sessions were prepared, including presentations and case studies, discussion panels and a new format of dynamic presentations - game changers. The conference program met the goals of sustainable development. The Conference Zone was accompanied by the Exhibitors' Zone and the Networking Zone.
One of the sessions, Design the future: Circular Buildings, was devoted to the transformation towards the circular economy and the new role of buildings. Discussion panel Inspirations. The world needs circular buildings. The new role of buildings has highlighted the importance of how to build and avoid wasting materials. Wioletta Fabrycka played the role of Moderator in this panel, and was attended by: Hubert Bukowski (Institute of Innovation and Responsible Development), Jean-Marie Hauglustaine (University of Liège), Maciej Kiepal (Armstrong Building Products), Andrzej Losor (Górażdże Group) and Rafał Schurma (PLGBC)
