The Office of the Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship undertakes a number of activities and initiatives in the field of sustainable development, environmental protection.

He cooperates, inter alia, with government institutions, local governments, non-governmental organizations, the scientific community and the private sector in the field of ecological education and environmental protection. Disseminating knowledge about technological solutions in environmental protection in the field of, among others: renewable energy sources, shale gas, waste management.

Inspires and conducts educational and training activities related to environmental protection. Diagnoses, analyzes and assesses the situation regarding environmental protection in the voivodship; participates in local, regional and supra-regional environmental projects.
