Denmark - Too Good To Go

2019-12-10

The Danish startup Too Good To Go is dedicated to the fight against food waste.

One third of food produced is wasted - landfills are overflowing while others are starving and our environment is suffering. It is not just about the food itself, but about all the resources that were used to produce it - land, water and labor.

To Good To Go, founded in Copenhagen in 2015, allows you to buy surplus, unsold food in restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and bakeries that would otherwise have to be thrown away. Today the company is managed by Mette Lykke, who was previously a co-founder of Endomondo. Together with a rapidly growing team, it has expanded its operations with To Good To Go to 12 countries and is on the way to saving 20 million meals a year. You can now use their app and find your favorite meal nearby, get it at a discounted price, and help them fight food waste.
